After four successful candidate forums, a straw poll, and other consideration, we have narrowed the field to four candidates;

Dr. Hans Keirstead is one of the world’s leading innovators in stem cell research and medical treatments. Laura Oatman is a licensed architect, small business owner and mother of five who has deep roots in Orange County, having graduated from UCI before receiving her Masters in Architecture from UCLA. She is a passionate advocate for the environment, women’s rights, education and health care, and lives in Newport Beach with her husband of 33 years.

Harley Rouda is a successful businessman, philanthropist and attorney, who created the firm Real Living, and now serves in a leadership position in successful firms in a variety of industries,
including firms in real estate, retail, and a variety of other industries. He’s had diverse and extensive success in companies of all sizes and scopes, ranging from small start-ups to national conglomerates over his career, and in cultures that are well defined or are trying to find their way due to mergers and changing environments.
