The Democratic and progressive organizations behind the recent outpouring of activism in CA-25 have come together in an alliance unprecedented in the district’s history:

The CA-25 Leadership Council.

Leaders representing these organizations will meet monthly to coordinate resistance to Donald Trump and CA-25 Congressman Steve Knight and fight for the interests of district residents.

If you’re already a member of one of these groups, please share questions and ideas for how to face the challenges ahead with your council representative and expect to receive regular reports back. We’re all part of something even larger and more historic than it was a month ago. Thanks for the work you’ve done putting together and attending events like the Voter Registration and Canvassing event in Simi Valley (5/26) and the Day Of Action coming up on June 10th.

If you haven’t been to an event yet, please attend one. Or check out the CA-25 club meeting calendar, stop in and see what’s going on. Like you, many of us have never done anything like this before. Being in a room of people who share similar values is rejuvenating.  There’s no substitute for the feeling that comes with taking action.
